Tibble Nibbles Lockdown Edition – Off Menu Homage

Producer Stu takes the reins today and constructs an homage to his (second) favourite podcast, Off Menu!

This was so much fun – it really made me think about my favourite food and brought up some really happy memories. Some decisions were really easy and I made them instantly, others required a lot of thought. I vacillated on the main course way more than I thought I would. Starters & Dessert was way easier, though if you know me it might not be what you think it is!

    Great listen, the prawn puri confused me a bit, understood eventually what you were talking about: puri (pronounced poo-ri) is the fried bread you get with it. Not a prawn puree as I initally thought! Not something I’ve ordered before but will definitely try it when I can!

      Thank you for the comment – glad you liked it! The whole Prawn Puree thing confused me too. You’ll often see it describes as Prawn Pathia on Puree, which was what made it click for me. You normally get a prawn Bhuna (if they’re doing a mild one) or a Prawn Pathia (Hot Sweet & Sour) with the Puri. I prefer the latter. Let me know if you enjoy it when you try!
